Itinerary of 3-Day Marrakech to Merzouga Hamra City:
In the Early Morning After meeting you at your hotel in
Marrakech we will go toward the High Atlas through the Tizin-Tichka pass, along a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260 m above sea level passing
through small villages, small waterfalls, and through the continuously changing landscape and colors of these beautiful mountains.
We will go through Ouarzazate, the famous Valley of Roses, and the Dades Valley.
After arriving in Merzouga you will find the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Erg-Chebbi, after 50 minutes approximately you will reach to the desert camp to spend the night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, there will be a campfire and drums playing, and we will listen to the songs of the Berbers, Nomads of Southern Moroccan.

In the morning you can get up early, take a walk over the sand dunes and watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 km from Merzouga.
You will have some time to get ready and have Breakfast. Then you will depart towards Marrakech Passing through the Famous road of one 1000 Kasbahs & the High Atlas Mountain with few quick stops. We reach Marrakech in the Evening for the End of the Trip around 20h00.
Please note that it is a long drive on the first day from Marrakech to the desert camp, can be up to 10 hours. There won’t be many long stops on the way in order to make it to the camp before sunset and benefit from the camel ride.
We have designed this 2 days desert option, for people who have limited time but still want to visit the desert.
